The Fabtech 3-inch lift kits in brief

Fabtech's 3-inch lift kit line has 43 part numbers and 3 in of front lift on every one. Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 take sixteen of them, the Ram 1500 takes five, the Tacoma takes eight and the Tundra takes fourteen. Each is a spacer lift or a coilover lift with shocks included, except three Denali kits that reuse the factory shocks. The maker lists the line across model years 2015 to 2026. For tires, the maker lists 33 in as the largest on the GM kits, and 35 in on the Ram 1500 kits and on Tundra K7086 to K7091. It gives no tire size for the Tacoma kits or for Tundra K7107M, K7108M, K7110DL and K7112DL. On the GM kits, the maker states a 1.5 in rear block but not the net rear lift. Drive fitment is mixed: all sixteen GM kits list 2WD and 4WD, while the Tundra kits are all 4WD.

Which part number is yours

Truck and trim come first. Of the sixteen GM parts, nine are spacer lifts and seven are coilover lifts, and K1128, K1131 and K1211 are marked Denali. The maker's Denali footnote covers models with factory Adaptive Ride Control. Other GM entries exclude adaptive ride control, GMC AT4, Chevy Trail Boss, composite rear leaf springs, standard cab and Super Cruise, and they say the OEM wheel and tire cannot be used. They also split by engine into gas only, diesel only and 4 cyl. only. The 2019 Chevy Silverado LD and GMC Sierra Limited 1500 should use 2018 model applications. The 2025 to 2026 entries say the kit contains round U-bolts and ask you to verify your application. For the Ram 1500, K3168, K3168M and K3170DL are marked Rebel. K7086 to K7091 replace the factory Tundra upper control arms with Fabtech Uniball Upper Control Arms. The Tacoma kits K7102, K7103DL, K7105 and K7106DL name the 2024 and later truck.

Questions owners ask

Does the Fabtech 3-inch lift kit fit a Silverado Trail Boss or Sierra AT4?

No. The maker's footnotes on the GM 3-inch kits say they do not fit GMC AT4 or Chevy Trail Boss models. They also do not fit a standard cab and cannot use the OEM wheel and tire.

What is the largest tire on a Fabtech 3-inch lift?

The maker lists 33 in on the Silverado and Sierra kits and 35 in on the Ram 1500 kits and Tundra K7086 to K7091. It lists no tire size for the Tacoma kits.

Which Fabtech 3-inch kit fits a Sierra Denali with Adaptive Ride Control?

The maker marks K1128, K1131 and K1211 as Denali and notes they are for GMC Denali models with factory Adaptive Ride Control. These three reuse the factory shocks. Other GM entries exclude adaptive ride control.

Is the Fabtech 3-inch lift available for 2WD trucks?

For some. The Silverado, Sierra and Ram 1500 entries list 2WD and 4WD, but the Tundra kits are all 4WD, and the Tacoma list has both 2WD and 4WD kits and 4WD-only kits.

Do the Fabtech Tundra 3-inch kits change alignment?

The maker says K7086 to K7091 replace the factory upper control arms with Uniball Upper Control Arms that give an extra degree of caster. K7107M and K7108M add 1.0 degree of positive caster.
