Tonneau cover types compared

Soft roll-up covers give full bed access and the lowest weight; hard folding covers add a load rating and lockable panels but block part of the bed when folded; retractable covers open fully but a canister takes 10 to 14 inches of bed length; one-piece hinged covers seal best and give the least access.
