Rough Country 1307 is a pair of lower strut spacers that fits the Silverado 1500 2WD and 4WD (the maker lists 2007-2018), and the struts do not need to be taken apart. It does not fit the 2014-2018 Denali or Denali Ultimate (Magnetic Ride Control), and the maker points to 1311 for those. Keeping the factory wheels needs a 0.25 in wheel spacer, part 1065. Install time is 2-3 hours.

Start with the type. There are six leveling kits, three spacer lifts, 33 full suspension lifts and one shock-only part. Seven kits sit at 2 in of front lift: Rough Country 1307 and 501063, Zone ZONC1200, ZONC1221, ZONC86LN and ZONC64, and Fabtech FTL5107. Rough Country 1305-10 gives 2.5 in, the Zone 3 in spacer lifts ZONC83F and ZONC83N list a 33 in largest tire, and Rough Country 121 gives 3.5 in. The Zone 4.5 in group has 10 kits, six for 4WD and four for 2WD, all with a 33 in tire. The Zone 6.5 in group has 18 kits, ten for 4WD and eight for 2WD, all with a 35 in tire. The 2WD kits list 3 in of rear lift at 4.5 in front and 5 in at 6.5 in front. The highest front figure is 7 in, on Rough Country 228-9 for 4WD and 171 for 2WD, both with a 35 in largest tire. Zone names a variant on each kit, such as FOX Adventure Series, Nitro Series, Cast Steel or Aluminum / Stamped Steel, so match it to your truck. Watch-outs before you buy
The makers rule out no kit entirely, but their conditions leave out several versions of this truck. Every Rough Country kit here excludes the 2014-2018 Denali trims with Magnetic Ride Control, and the 1307 listing points to SKU 1311 for those trucks. The 1305-10, 121, 291, 226-7, 228-9, 171 and 501063 also exclude eAssist (ECO Hybrid). Fabtech FTL5107 will not fit adaptive ride control, GMC AT4, Chevy Trail Boss or Super Cruise. Rough Country 121 and 291 need the mass damper on the front differential removed, and 121 does not work with aftermarket control arms. The 291, 226-7, 228-9 and 171 need cutting and drilling. Zone ZONC1221 is the one kit titled for trucks with MagneRide. Verify the part number, the drivetrain and the control arm type before ordering.

Can I keep my factory wheels on a lifted Silverado?
It depends on the kit. Rough Country says 291 works with OEM 20 in wheels and 226-7 works with factory 20 in wheels. The 1307 needs a 0.25 in wheel spacer, SKU 1065, to keep factory wheels. The 228-9 and 171 list wheels of 18 in or larger as a requirement.
Does the Fabtech FTL5107 fit every Silverado 1500?
The maker lists it at 2 in of front lift and 0 in at the rear for 2WD and 4WD. It will not fit adaptive ride control, Super Cruise, GMC AT4 or Chevy Trail Boss, and the maker notes some models may not sit level after install.
